Churches Automate Donation Processing

Churches process thousands of check donations in a single day, using RP Solutions' AR Express for fast electronic processing.

Think Ministry clients include some of the largest and fastest growing multi-site churches in the country. When Check 21 first emerged, Think Ministry got excited. Here was an opportunity to leverage new technology in the Church and on the mission field. So when they began designing their church management software solution, Check 21 was high on their list of requirements.

"We needed to find a partner with a flexible Check 21 solution that we could integrate into our platform," said Kevin McCord, Co-Founder, Think Ministry. At one of Think Ministry’s first installations, it took sixteen hours each week to process 2,000 collection envelopes, which included checks and cash. Using AR Express, they implemented a new process. Now checks are scanned only once and the entire job is done by one person in less than five hours. This has dramatically improved their efficiency. The system also automatically prepares Image Cash Letter (ICL) deposit files for transmission to the bank, eliminating the armored car expenses.
