Memberships
We maintain individual memberships in The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). AFP serves more than 14,000 individual members in corporate treasury and financial management. AFP provides professional certification, continuing education, public policy research, development of industry standards, financial tools and publications, training and career development, and representation to legislators and regulators. Members are drawn from a wide range of industries, comprising corporate practitioners and banks and other financial services providers. As a bridge between corporate practitioners and service providers, AFP plays an important role in the promulgation of industry standards.
We are a Corporate Partner Sponsor of BAI. BAI is the financial services industry’s leading professional organization focused on enhancing employee and organizational performance. Through research and its own magazine, BAI provides the latest insights on complex, strategic issues in financial services. Through seminars, graduate schools and conferences, BAI reaches thousands of financial services professionals each year to deliver content designed around critical business needs and to facilitate vital connections between financial services professionals, industry experts and solutions providers.
We are a member of The Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, the largest business organization in Central New York. It offers business assistance and development programs to local businesses and leads the way in everything from government relations and lobbying to creating economic growth in our region. The Chamber represents more than 2,200 businesses of all sizes and from virtually every industry and profession in our area. Syracuse is home to Syracuse University and ranks in the top 10% of Best Places to Live, according to the latest edition of the Places Rated Almanac.
We joined ECCHO (Electronic Check Clearing House Organization) as a Sponsoring Organization. ECCHO is a not-for-profit, mutual benefit, national clearinghouse that is 100% owned by its member institutions. Any depository financial institution, regardless of size, is eligible for membership in ECCHO. ECCHO was created in 1990 by banks as a cooperative venture to encourage the implementation of electronic check presentment (ECP). ECCHO’s primary activities can be divided among three functions: 1) rules development and maintenance 2) industry education and 3) industry advocacy.
We are members of the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA). This organization is one of the insurance industry's largest non-profit, volunteer driven, education associations. They focus on the core knowledge areas of accounting/finance and systems/technology. Their mission is to initiate and facilitate the exchange of ideas and information among insurance related professionals. This includes company personnel, regulators and industry solutions providers such as ourselves.
The Institute of Financial Operations (IFO) is a Professional Association serving AP, AR, Document Management, and P2P professionals. The Institute serves as a global voice, chief advocate, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, and principal educator for people in financial operations, with a particular focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable and payments, automation, data capture and document management, and procure-to-pay. It grew out of the merger of four legacy associations – IAPP, IARP, NAPP, and TAWPI. RP Solutions had been an Affiliate Member of TAWPI since 1996. Combined, the affiliates have more than 6,000 members.
RP Solutions has achieved a Silver ISV/Software Competency in the Microsoft Partner Network, demonstrating its ability to meet Microsoft customers' evolving needs in today's dynamic business environment. To earn a Microsoft Silver Competency, partners must complete a set of tests to prove their level of technology expertise, submit customer references and employ or contract a required number of Microsoft Certified Professionals who are skilled on current technology relevant for the competency.
We maintain an associate membership with the New England Automated Clearing House (NEACH) Association. As one of the largest non-profit, ACH associations, NEACH is an influential leader, representing the interests of financial institutions by working closely with NACHA and other organizations on rules and product development, best practices, and risk and compliance issues. For over 35 years, more than 600 financial institutions, government agencies, and corporations have relied on NEACH for professional development, payments education, rules interpretation, risk management, audit services, payments strategy, and operational support. Its mission is to increase the acceptance, use and quality of electronic transactions for the benefit of its members and their customers.
We are Partners with The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM) - the area’s premier member service organization. Their mission is to be the leader in assisting nonprofit organizations as they build their individual capacity and collective influence. Over 200 member agencies comprise a diverse and vibrant compilation of the area’s nonprofit sector, NAM helps the sector in areas such as public policy & advocacy, training and educational opportunities.
Because we have a special interest in local government tax collection, we belong to the Northeast Regional Tax Collectors & Treasurers Association as an Associate Business Member. NRTCTA is a professional association comprised of local government tax collection officials from the Northeastern United States & Southeastern Provinces of Canada. Almost 50% of the total number of tax collecting jurisdictions in the country are located in the northeast region. Established in 1989, its mission is to provide long term leadership, education and peer networking opportunities to support the professional growth of its membership.
We are a member of the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, a membership organization that advocates economic, social and cultural services that enhance the quality of life and the free enterprise system in Tompkins County. The county seat for Tompkins County is Ithaca, situated on Cayuga Lake in New York State’s beautiful Finger Lakes Region. It is home to Cornell University and Ithaca College. Ithaca was recently cited by Sperling and Sander as the nation’s number one emerging city and the eighth best place to live by Kiplinger’s Magazine (2006).
