A Powerful Image Archival/Retrieval Solution that Provides Online and Offline Access to Images and Data

ExpertICE is a powerful, flexible and cost-effective archival/retrieval solution for easy storage, access and distribution of images and related data. It is ideal for financial institutions, payment processors and service-oriented lockbox providers. Online storage is provided, as well as offline storage on optical media (CD or DVD).

Additional features include an easy-to-use image viewer, extensive search capabilities, support for multiple concurrent users, audit logs and transaction reports.

Archive Platform

ExpertICE accepts images and data from our image based Check 21 products including ExpertRPS for mail-in remittance, ExpertCASHIER for walk-in payments, ExpertATM for ATM deposit balancing and ExpertCHK for teller/branch capture. No matter how checks, coupons, invoices or other documents are received, ExpertICE provides an enterprise-wide image archive platform. As a tightly integrated solution, a single user interface is presented thereby simplifying installation, training and administration. And data integrity is preserved since duplicate copies of the data are not being maintained on multiple disparate systems.

Online Storage

ExpertICE can be implemented using one of two high performance databases — Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle — to best meet the customer's application requirements or personal preference. Both offer a rich set of features that support ExpertICE’s scalability, security and sophisticated data management.

Data and images are stored and accessible online for a user-defined retention period. The system stores front and rear document images at 100-200 dpi resolution in either gray scale or bi-tonal format.

Offline Storage

At the end of the retention period — frequently 90 or 180 days — ExpertICE securely stores data and images to CD or DVD. CDs are encrypted and password protected to prohibit unauthorized access. If a CD becomes corrupted for any reason, it can be recreated on demand. In an environment where there is no online storage, offline storage can serve as the complete archival solution.
