
Our Professional Services team are skilled IT professionals trained in RP Solutions’ products, related hardware, software technologies and project management methodologies. These Project Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer installations, including the Project Implementation Plan, the Project Schedule, setup and installation, testing and training, roll-out and post production support. Our project management process can be adjusted according to your needs and desired degree of involvement.
As part of our project management process we provide you with a complete master notebook of your installation including copies of your final proposal, contract, functional specification, installation CDs, software license keys and system log files. We maintain a duplicate notebook at our facility. This provides a complete picture of the system as provided and serves as added insurance in the event that a system recovery is necessary.
In preparation for final delivery at your site, RP Solutions will complete a trial run of your solution at our facility. This includes configuring the hardware, installing your software and testing the system. Whenever possible, we use live data from your operation. We confirm with you that initial system test results are as expected and desired.
At your option, you may chose to visit our facility for pre-installation system testing and preliminary advanced training. This provides an opportunity for valuable feedback and allows time to make any modifications prior to installation. Upon completing this staging process, we will coordinate shipment of the entire solution to your site.
We will coordinate implementation logistics including system delivery, set-up and installation. Our staff will perform basic connectivity tests to ensure the new system is ready for the next phase: testing, training and roll-out.
Our Professional Services team will conduct formal acceptance tests on the system at your site. The purpose of this phase is to confirm that all items are being processed correctly and that the system is ready for roll-out.
We will educate and train your administrators, supervisors and operators on the use of the new system. Should employee turnover at your site impact your efficiency, RP Solutions can provide retraining for the new staff.
We complete a transition phase where production work begins to be processed on the new system. During the implementation period both old and new systems may be operational simultaneously. RP Solutions provides initial onsite support as the new system enters full production. If needed, we will remain on site to provide further support during the initial period of live production.
